Crowns and Veneers

Dental crowns and veneers can help you restore the look of your smile so you can exude confidence once again.

Porcelain veneers are an excellent choice for slight aesthetic imperfections. They can fix poor color, shape, gaps, fractured teeth, tooth position, and even stains that cannot be fixed through bleaching or other methods.

When you make an appointment to have veneers, during your first visit Dr. Orlandini will take an impression of your existing teeth, which will be used to design your veneers. We may also have to remove a thin layer of the original tooth enamel.

Once they are designed and ready for application, the veneers are simply slipped over your teeth and bonded using dental adhesive to create a lasting, beautiful smile that you can be proud of for years to come.

While veneers provide a remedy for minimal damage to teeth, dental crowns are the best remedy if your teeth are more severely damaged. Compared to veneers, dental crowns involve the use of more material. While veneers only cover the front, visible part of a tooth, crowns encapsulate the entire tooth up to the gum line.

A crown replaces a large part of the tooth, creating improvements for patients who have grinding habits, enamel erosion, decay, or severe trauma.

The crowns we use are made of modern ceramics, which look more natural than older metal crowns or caps. They are strong and durable and will have you looking great and feeling confident again.
